About Me:

My name is Stephen Baker and I am a student at Indiana Wesleyan University. I am working to finish my Marriage and Family Therapy degree and gain my licensure in Ohio and Indiana.

My Approach

At Differentiation Works, therapy focuses on helping individuals and families better understand themselves and their relationships . My work is influenced by Bowen Family Systems Theory, which emphasizes developing a stronger sense of self while remaining connected to others (Differentiation). I strive to provide a thoughtful, respectful, and collaborative environment where clients can explore challenges and work toward meaningful change.

Client Confidentiality & HIPPA

As part of my clinical training through a COAMFTE-accredited program, I provide counseling services as a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate student under the supervision of a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist . Client privacy and confidentiality are taken seriously and are maintained in accordance with ethical guidelines and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), except in situations where disclosure is required by law. As part of the Supervision, I am currently required to record sessions for your and my security and training, but this is only for that, and follows all HIPAA guidelines for security and safety.
